With most of the social events being cancelled since COVID-19, it seemed most appropriate that the first social gathering we would attend, would involve dogs— many dogs; dogs of all different breeds, shapes and sizes.
The Fifth Annual World Dog Day celebration, organized by Vanderpump Dog Foundation, was held on August 7th at the West Hollywood Park, in Los Angeles, CA. On a hot summer day, excited dogs, and even more excited humans behind them, gathered around the pink tents, surrounding the park, full of dog food, clothes, and accessories. Everyone took turns posing for the pawpawrazi, on the pink carpet, where insta-famous dogs posed for the gram.
The outdoor event, co-sponsored by The City of West Hollywood, focused on the celebration of dogs and raising awareness about dog abuse domestically and globally.
