With last year’s competition canceled due to COVID-19, everyone was excited to be back in Huntington Dog Beach for the 12th Surf City Surf Dog competition, organized by @surfdogevents.
The Dog Beach was packed with dogs, humans who came to cheer them on, and the news media.
The surfing competition consisted of 4 different categories: (1) Weight (2) Tandem: Dog & Dog (3) Tandem: Dog & Human, and (4) Shredders. The winners of the 1st category were (1) Derby (2) Giselle and (3) Charlie. The winners of the 2nd were (1) Faith & Rusty (2) Carson & Giselle, and (3) Charlie & Koa. The winners of the 3rd were (1) Skyler (2) Sugar and (3) Bamboo. And the winners of the 4th were (1) Sugar (2) Skyler and (3) Finn.
